Found a new place to shop!...Victoria's Basement. For a long time i was hoping that one day i could go inside the shop. Kept on passing by whenever we go to the city. Its located in Silverwater. But its hard to go there coz we didnt know (until now) where to park. They usually have advertisement in the television. I was thinking their prices are expensive but if they're on sale then its time to buy. They carry big names on household kitchen wares.
On Easter long weekend, our family went to the city. We explored Victoria's Building and they have Victoria's Basement too. We did shopped around but was not able to buy coz the kids kept on touching everything. I was scared they might break something. I told my husband we'll just come back one time just the two of us without the kids.
My husband doesnt want to go to the city anymore coz its far and hard to find parking and if you're lucky to find one, there's always a parking fee. And knowing my husband, he will try or do everything he can so he wont pay any fee. He brought me to Victoria's Basement in Auburn branch (or main?) instead. Since twas really our intention to go to the shop, we were able to find the parking area.
Oh my gosh! i really love the place! Lots and lots of kitchen wares. They're expensive too!..I think i'll just look around and enjoy seeing the stuffs. But they have 40% off , 80% off on selected items! We ended up buying a dozen of this and a dozen of that. But had to be very careful coz almost all are breakable. Had to push the trolley with a lot of care, and had to carry my bag properly otherwise i'll gonna hit something and have to pay for it of course. We got stuffs more on country style coz that's what i like.
Am planning to have a "cafe" inside our house. My customers are my kids and husband. Im excited to start with Arrozcaldo served with Spring roll. Next days will be Pancit Palabok with Puto or Kutchinta, then Pancit Bihon with Puto or Kutchinta, Lumpia Sariwa, Cakes served with Homemade Ice Creams.
I'll be coming back there for more....___ღ☆ღ___
